Precise trimming controls
Specify exact start and end times or use quick presets to quickly cut highlights, intros, or outros from your clips.
Fast stream-copy mode
When you keep the same output format as the input, the tool can perform a stream-copy trim, which is much faster than full re-encoding.
Multiple output formats

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about trimming and cutting videos in your browser.
The trimmer uses FFmpeg.wasm, which runs in your browser. Your files are processed locally and are not permanently saved to our servers.
This tool focuses on trimming a single continuous segment. To remove multiple sections, export several clips and combine them in a separate editor or merger tool.
When the input and output formats match, FFmpeg can often copy the video and audio streams without re-encoding, which is much faster than recompressing every frame.
In stream-copy mode, quality is identical because no re-encoding occurs. If a re-encode is required (for example, when changing formats), there may be a small quality difference.
The trimmer may work on modern mobile browsers, but handling large video files can be demanding. For the best experience, use a desktop or laptop computer.
No installation is required. Everything runs in your browser using WebAssembly. Just open this page, upload a video, choose the trim range, and download the result.
